성경 - 개역개정 is a Korean Bible reading app with optional AI voice narration. The Bible text (Korean Revised Version, 개역개정) is bundled with the app and works fully offline. AI voices stream from our servers when you tap a verse and press play.
성경 - 개역개정은 한국어 성경(개역개정) 읽기 앱이며 AI 음성 낭독 기능을 선택적으로 제공합니다. 성경 본문은 앱에 포함되어 있어 완전히 오프라인에서도 읽을 수 있습니다. 구절을 탭하고 재생 버튼을 누르면 AI 음성이 우리 서버에서 스트리밍됩니다.
What is the subscription for?

Two things:

- Ad-free reading — banner ads at the bottom of the reader are removed.
- AI voice narration — natural-sounding voices read passages aloud with per-verse controls and background playback.

- AI 음성 낭독 — 자연스러운 음성으로 구절을 읽어주며, 구절별 제어와 백그라운드 재생을 지원합니다.
There are two tiers:

Each tier offers monthly and yearly billing, and a one-week free trial for new subscribers.

I previously bought "광고삭제" (Ad Removal). Do I get anything for that?

Yes. Anyone who purchased the legacy "광고삭제" non-consumable IAP keeps ad-free reading permanently — that purchase carries over and is never charged again. As an additional thank-you, legacy owners are offered a 2-month free trial (instead of 1 week) when starting a new Pro or Premium subscription. The legacy ad-free benefit applies regardless of whether you subscribe.

How do I manage my subscription?
구독 관리는 어떻게 하나요?
- Open the iOS Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find 성경 - 개역개정 in the list and tap it.
- From here you can change tier, switch monthly ↔ yearly, or cancel.
- iOS의 설정 앱을 엽니다.
- 상단의 본인 이름을 탭합니다.
- 구독을 탭합니다.

Cancelling stops auto-renewal but keeps your subscription active until the end of the current billing period. After that, ads return and AI voices stop playing (the app still works for offline reading).
취소하면 자동 갱신은 중지되지만 현재 결제 주기 종료일까지는 구독이 유지됩니다. 이후 광고가 다시 표시되고 AI 음성 재생이 중단됩니다(오프라인 읽기는 계속 작동합니다).
The AI voice won't play / keeps buffering. What can I do?
AI 음성이 안 나오거나 계속 버퍼링됩니다.
- Check your internet connection — voice audio streams from our servers.
- Try restarting the app.
- Settings → AI voice cache → Clear cache (then re-download).
- Make sure your iOS version is 15.0 or later.
- 인터넷 연결을 확인해주세요 — 음성 오디오는 서버에서 스트리밍됩니다.
- 앱을 재시작해보세요.
- 설정 → AI 음성 캐시 → 캐시 비우기 후 다시 다운로드.
- iOS 15.0 이상인지 확인해주세요.
If the problem persists, email us with the verse range that fails.

Is my reading data private?
제 읽기 데이터가 보호되나요?
Yes. Your reading position, highlights, font size, and theme preferences are stored only on your device. We never see what passages you read or when. The AI voice request includes only the book/chapter/verse you asked to hear — no personal identifiers. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Why do I see ads after subscribing?
구독 후에도 광고가 보입니다.
Banner ads should disappear immediately after a successful subscription. If they don't:
결제가 정상 처리되면 배너 광고가 즉시 사라져야 합니다. 사라지지 않을 경우:
- Force-quit and reopen the app.
- Settings (in the app) → 구매내역 복구 (Restore Purchases).
- Confirm in iOS Settings → Subscriptions that 성경 - 개역개정 shows as active.
- 앱을 강제 종료 후 다시 실행해주세요.
- 앱 내 설정 → 구매내역 복구를 눌러주세요.
- iOS 설정 → 구독에서 성경 - 개역개정이 활성 상태인지 확인해주세요.

App Store purchases including subscriptions are refunded by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the 성경 - 개역개정 transaction, and submit a refund request. Most decisions arrive within 48 hours.
